Reminder: Deadline Approaching to Apply for CRHA Scholarship for Graduating Seniors

The deadline to apply for the joint New Chesapeake Men for Progress Education Foundation/CRHA Scholarship is May 30, 2023!  All graduating seniors residing in CRHA properties are encouraged to apply!!! 

In 2022, New Chesapeake Men for Progress Education Foundation and Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority established the CRHA Scholarship Program.  The New Chesapeake Men for Progress Education Foundation, Inc. and Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority Scholarship is intended to alleviate some of the financial cost associated with attending institutions of higher education.  The awarding of the scholarship is based on the applicant’s proof of enrollment in either a four-year college or university.

This scholarship is a supplemental scholarship that can be used for technology items, various school supplies, etc. It is in addition to any other scholarships or funding you may qualify for through your university of choice.

To be eligible for scholarship, student must live in Chesapeake’s Redevelopment and Housing Authority housing, and meet all eligibility requirements.  Application Deadline is May 30^th.

If chosen, scholarship recipients consent to digital photography and use promote CRHA and the NCMPEF Scholarship program.
