CRHA continues to process requests for protections under VAWA (Violence Against Women Act)

Many survivors of violence, especially domestic violence, may be feeling trapped at this time.  Because of job loss, sheltering in place requirements and restrictions on public transportation, individuals who are in a violent residential situation may feel like they cannot leave. 

Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority continues to process requests for protections under VAWA (Violence Against Women Act).  Please reach out to management or your Case Manager if you are the victim of domestic violence and please take advantage of resources and support available through the National Domestic Violence Hotline, https://www.thehotline.org/
